I've just found a varicouse vein on my calf. It explains why my leg has been achey for a while. How can I get rid of it?

Is it a bulgy vein? Or a flat spidery one?

If it is a swelling, you should have it checked by GP.

I've got bulgy ones, have had them for years and have never told my Gp Hmm

I've got ugly bulgy ones and told my GP but he said the NHS wouldn't pay to have them removed as it is purely cosmetic (although I told him that they ache which is true!!).
So if I want to wear skirts again, I'll have to put my hand in my pocket!
Not health threatening though! Just ugly. Wink
