I am so sorry you are in unbearable pain. Which painkillers have you been taking which don't work anymore? Your dr has a duty to care for your health and unbearable pain imo is a priority.

Hello digerd, thanks for reply. I am on Tramadol 50mg, taken with 2 paracetamol tabs. Helped for about a month now suddenly not. I take them four times a day as prescribed by neurosurgeon.

Good morning carolpie07. As the dosage is no longer relieving your pain, can you contact the neurosurgeon's secretary or your GP and ask if you can increase the dosage of Tramadol, as you are in agony,

You are on the daily maximum of paracetamol, so can't increase that.

My DD had an MRI scan for pain in her neck vertebrae and had a few nerves deadened under CT. Good Luck

Could you try adding something for neuropathic pain like Gabapentin or Amitryptyline. .might take the edge off. Your GP can prescribe them

Hi there. Thanks for the info I will inquire about stronger dosage, just did not want to increase it myself. It is wonderful that some people out there still care!

Good Day.I will contact my GP - thanks for suggesting as the N/S will only take calls for emergencies. I really do not want to have a back op,therefore I am trying to find alternative ways.Doc says even a physio will not help. (stupid hey, nerves pinched on the spine but pain comes in the neck) very depressing.

I got amitryptiline from GP for nerve pain from my neck and it really did help, I hope they can give you some relief :)
