Lower cervix during a period? Anyone?

I had a prolapse repair some years ago and it's been okay- touch wood. Not exactly like before children, but much better. I do notice though that during a period, my cervix seems lower- this is noticeable when I use tampons on the first day or two, when I can't get the tampon as high as I'd like - using Tampax the outer plunger goes about 50- 75% of the way , not flush with the inner tube IYSWIM. Anyone else?

Yes, after DS. During my period mine can be at the entrance of my vagina. Mentioned it to my GP who didn't seem concerned.
