Sinus infection and Neilmed sinus rinse

My sister has a terrible sinus infection, with soft palette infection too. I advised her to use the Neilmed sinus rinse as it works well for me but when she used it her headache got worse afterwards and now she still has headache this morning feeling slightly worse. Anybody any experience of this? Should she stop using?

Yes, I use one of these. It won't solve the problem in one go, it takes about a week.

Thanks hidden home but the headache is a lot worse from using, is that your experience for the first week?

No it's not, it improved very quickly. Does she have signs that the infection may be bacterial and need antibiotics?

Ibuprofen also helps sinus inflammation. You can take it with paracetamol.
