My first question here, so hoping someone can help! I was told by GP at 6wk check that I have a small umbilical hernia (not surprising since dd was over 11lb!) He didn't, however, tell me what the symptoms would be if it got worse.... I have a very tender patch on the left of my stomach, which feels like a stabbing pain if pressed.... I don't want to keep going to see him - I've already been three times as many weeks for PND - but I can't find an answer on the internet.
