Any pharmacists about!?....:(

I was rushed to a and e on Thursday with AF.
Very scary...blue lights, resus the works.
Given beta blocker and warfarin and discharged next day.
They don't know why.
They asked me about meds and I am only on one...lansoprazole for GERD.
EXCEPT I sometimes take otc motillium 10 when the acid makes me nauseous and I did this on weds night prior to my AF attack!
I forgot to tell the resus doc this...panic and fear I guess.
Anyway...took a oer about an hour ago and after some googling am now panicking like mad. Domperidone has been with dream in some countries due to this type of reaction.
Oh, and I had low potassium too which is also a no no for this medication!

It must have been so frightening. Doesnt mean to say it will happen again but thats easy for me to say!

Have you got a follow up? I would certainly make a gp appointment and discuss this or phone out of hours gp if that may settle your mind now.

Hope all the tests are done ASAP and you can relax a little. It certainly sounds terrifying what happened.

Hi, no that wasn't me, but I remember that thread.
I saw the gp today (I have a nasty virus ATM) and am waiting for appts for the echo and 24 hour monitor to come through.
I will be seen in clinic afterwards according to the gp.
