Best cold/flu remedy

Working all weekend and having family over Monday and feeling terrible. Need cures ASAP.

Hot lemonaid and paracetamol

Alternate paracetamol and ibuprofen each every 4 hrs but if u alternate them then you can end up with pain relief every 2 hrs. Plenty of fluids and hot lemon and honey. Personally I think lemsips etc are a waste of money

raw onions! Have a cheese and onion sandwhich or salad with raw onion in it.

(dont skip the paracetomol/ibuprofen though!)

there is no cure for either. The infection will last the same time regardless, all you can do is manage the symptoms.

paracetamol is good, WATCH the dose. Hot lemon and honey. No cough mixture does anything. Own brand medicines are the same as the branded ones.

if it is flu, cancel the family visit. Whatever it is, don't touch or kiss anyone, wash your hands frequently and dispose of used tissues ASAP.

For gods sake don't take lemsip and paracetamol together, you'll flipping overdose.

It doesn't matter what you do, special is correct. Viruses are all about symptom management.
