NHS?

hm32 · 23/05/2013 06:37

Want a back-up to the NHS. Have had to go private and pay several times, as the waiting period was ridiculous, and would prefer to have insurance. I have a private GP already so I can actually get an appointment and speak to someone who doesn't treat me like an idiot (our local NHS surgery is awful).

I've been very happy with AXA

I've got AXA and they're ok with most things, of course quite a few limitations on the cover as most insurance providers will have (for example, they cap fees for surgeries, consultants etc, so if you need surgery and your consultant charges above the cap, you need to pay for the extra yourself). Otherwise they are probably as good as any.
