Itchy nipple- should I get it checked out?

Since I gave up bf 6months ago I've had an intermittently itchy left nipple. I thought it was due to the more synthetic material in my non bf bras but investing in cotton bras hasnt helped. Its usually at the end of the day as I take my bra off that I notice it, and if I scratch the itch it becomes really really itchy. The skin sometimes looks a little dry but otherwise no different to the right. There are no lumps in my breast or arm pit and I'm otherwise feeling well. Sould I get this checked out or am I just going to be told its a bit of mild dermatitis?

Always worth getting it checked out, and I'm sure your GP will agree. Bet it is just something like dermatitis though.
