Morning after pill and periods

Took the morning after pill last Monday, after condom slipping off incident. My periods hadn't yet restarted after DD's birth (8 months ago).

Yesterday I started bleeding - I'm presuming it is a period, although wondering if it could be an effect of the morning after pill (GP said it could affect periods in all sorts of ways. I'm hoping it hasn't restarted mine for good though).

I think it's usual to get some kind of bleed after the morning after pill, isn't it?

Don't know - amazingly it's the first time I've used it (not sure if I should put :) or Blush after that)
