Rough patch on cervix

Last week I noticed a rough patch on my cervix whist removing my mooncup. I've felt it each day for any changes since and it's still rough. It's not tender and isn't bleeding. Previously when I've felt my cervix it's been smooth. Anyone else felt this?

I'm up to date with smears and last one was 18 months ao and all clear. Planning on heading to GP this week for an exam but curious and concerned so would like to know anyone else's experiences. Thanks.

I have never been able to touch my Cervix - short fingers. But did have CIS. When the nurse looked at it, she said it was all black, and assumed it also meant hard/crusty.
But my visit was due to an abnormal smear, they forgot to inform me about, 18 months before. So not the case with you as yours was clear.

I have this and was told it is cervical ectopy.

Basically some of the cells from the inside of the cervix sit outside. It's harmless but they can bleed a little if irritated.

Go to FPC though just to make sure?
