Conjunctivitis - caused by chlorine?

DD and I went swimming on Sunday, water like normal made my eyes really sore. Yesterday one of my eyes was itching today I've got discharge and looks like conjunctivitis -bah!

Anyone know if this is as infectious as "normal" conjunctivitis? Or if it will take as long to clear up?

Cheers.

Think you picked up a bug from the water in the pool.

I'd go to the pharmacy, you likely need chlorophenicol cream to clear it and this needs to be applied directly onto the area around the affected eye.
