GP suggested I have it cut off but wondered if anyone could advise of successful, perhaps homeopathic, less drastic alternatives

Would be interested to hear of any wart removal methods also. Have loads on 1 finger. Been to the drs numerous times but they dont treat them apparently best advice was bind them with duct tape to starve them of oxygen. Problem with mine is that they are a crop altogether (bout 10) and I would need to bind my whole finger in duct tape. Have tried the freezing stuff but hasnt worked so far.

Not homeopathic but this worked on a huge wart I'd had for years.

Someone posted today (I think) that dandelion sap gets rid of them...not sure how true it is though.

My son has them froze off in the hospital many times and they keep coming back.

So, I went to Walmart and bought some wart removal stuff for less than $5.00... So far it is getting rid of all of them!

The method I used isn't exactly homeopathic, but it's pretty natural and worked really well for me.

First, cover the wart with duct tape for 24 hours a day. Second, use epsom salt soaks once a day and third, use salicylic acid pads like the kind Dr Scholls makes for corns or plantar warts (I used the corn ones).

In a matter of a few weeks I was able to kill a bad plantar wart that I'd treated unsuccessfully for 2 years prior.

I have a lot more info on a blogger page I created for the purposes of documenting and sharing the experience. It also has before and after photos. Check it out for encouragement and/or info. Hope this helps!
