Having finally uncovered my toes for more than five seconds at a time, I have really noticed that my toes are red, especially in the bit just below the nail and above first toe joint. Absolutely no pain or discomfort, just very red which is rather unsightly with bare feet!!!
I've tried moisturiser (but they aren't especially dry - I don't see that cream is going to help this).... and my nails are neat, so no ingrowing etc... I've been tested for arthritis this year and am all clear.
