Morning after pill question....

Have you taken the morning after pill? Did it make your period start?

I had to take it last week. I wanted to start my usual contraceptive pill, the pharmacist said wait because the morning after pill will kick start your period then you can start the usual pill.

No period has started though - does this mean it didn't work or everybody is just different?

It doesn't bring on your period immediately.

It can muck up your cycle a bit: if a normal period doesn't start no later than 5 days (according to pack information) after you expect it to turn up, then it's possible it hasn't worked and you should consider seeing GP.
