Horrible smell

I am driving myself mad thinking I smell. I am menopausal and have bad flushing which makes me feel all sweaty. No matter how much I wash what deodorant I use, even the perspirex one that stops you smelling,no matter where I am I can smell this strong vinegar like smell, a cross between feet and something else. No one else notices it, I have asked lots of family etc, but it is in my nose, has anyone else felt like this, I wondered if it was something up my nose. I know I sound mad but it is really affecting me. Any ideas greatly appreciated

Oh dear poor you. If you have asked friends and no one else can smell it - and you've told them to be totally honest then it does sound that it's either not as strong as you imagine or its not there at all and you're probably imagining it.

Have you been to a GP about it? It could be that your sense of smell is changing like in pregnancy, when I was pregnant I had total bionic smell .

There is a deoderant you can get that's really good and is proper chemical, may kill you or something but in meantime stops any smell, you only put it on last thing at night then use normal one in daytime. It's called Driclor and is a bit expensive but will stop you smelling. Went upstairs to check name for you and everything. Not that I'm suggesting you or I actually do ever smell but...just a wee tip.
