I think there is something wrong with me

can someone please confirm that this is a virus going round and to go back to baed. I have had diareaha for 24 hours, not too bad at first but in the night every 30 mins ir everytime I take a sip of water. stomach cramps like you wouldnt believe. arms and legs aching, this mooring I feel like I have been hit by a bus, so I went for a hot bath to try and calm pin down, had to crawl nto bed soaking wet and have just woken up (about 3 hours later) taken my temp and it is 39, I am really worried I feel more ill than I have ever felt before. So please tell me its just a virus.

Sounds like you have food poisoning or some sort of bug. You need some diarolyte to make sure your electrolytes are balanced, keep drinking as well. Your temp is a bit high, you could do with having a chat with your GP really, you don't sound well at all. Sad

It sounds like a bug to me, but if you're smelling of ketones, then you need to rebalance. A tsp of salt and tbsp of sugar in a pint of water does the same job of dioralyte. you can add squash if you need to. Get back to bed and wait for it pass, sounds like its pretty brutal, usually means they're short lived

ketones is a kind of metal taste isnt it? luckily I was supposed to be in work today so the kids are at the childminders.

also trying to take a few minutes out of bed to get my temp down as I guess being tucked up wont help, I daernt take any tablets as I dont know what my stomach would do to them.

Yup, tastes like copper. Even if its passing straight back out the other end, try and keep your fluid intake up

well ,y temp hsa gone down a little but my joints are agony now, cant wait for this bug to go away. :(

I was very, very ill with a bug like this (won't share the grim details) and phoned OOH. They told me to take paracetamol. I was sceptical but took it as I felt sooo ill. It made me feel so much better Smile. I always take it now for tummy bugs. Hope you're feeling much better soon.

I have tried some paracetamol mw, I cant even bend my legs they hurts so much.
