Cut on hand not healing

I have very dry hands and the skin on my fingers split sometimes.

I have one split that has opened up and just is not healing. Its quite sore and swollen.

What can I do? I thought about wearing a plaster on it to see if that helps. Its on the top bend of my finger IYSWIM.

Any ideas?

I would ask my pharmacist to have a look and maybe recommend something

I had something like that but it was all over my hands and the doctor diagnosed me with egzema and he was right
meds for egzema after a few days helped so much
maybe try this
I really didnt believe it was egzema at first I never had it b4 but now its so fine and whenever they would just get more dry than normal Ill use night cream and the next day they so much better

and for the bigger cut try savlon as well for the start

Vaseline- use as often as you can.

Definitely sounds like eczma. See your G.P. and he will probably prescribe

Thanks all. I have some eczema cream that my daughter uses. I am going to try splinting it at night to keep it straight. My finger is quite swollen as well.

Roll on nice weather so that my hands arent so dry
