Help, got baby oil in dd2's eye!

And she wont stop crying, will it clear itself?
Should i try and wash it out?

how old is she?
I would rinse with warm water if you can.
Baby oil is ph neutral but canbe very stingy to the eye.
Rinse with warm wter in the bath for at least 15 min
offer her some calpol and if she doesnt settle you should probably get her eye checked

She's 8 weeks old, she seems a bit better now, it looked red for a while and she screamed when i touched it.

If she has settled I would not worry too much about it.
Any ongoing problems and your gp could see her tomorrow, but there is nothing particularly nasty about baby oil.

Rarely It can cause little tiny scratches on the surface fo the eye but no-one knows weather this is just from rubbing the irritation, like i said it does sting like hell. As she has settle dI'm sure it will be fine
