Ear infection??

I have never had an ear infection before so not sure if this is or not.

I have lost almost all the hearing in my left ear. It's been like it since Monday, so 5 days now. Didnt think much of it at first as I've had a bit of a cold so thought it was just a symptom of that. But now my cold has pretty much gone but my hearing has not come back at all! It's not particularly painful, just very annoying!

Won't be able to see a doctor until at least Tuesday what with it being Easter!

All the ear infections I've had have been really painful - however, I'd try getting to see your doctor tomorrow morning as if it suddenly becomes painful you won't be able to wait until Tuesday.

Other than that I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Thank you. It's a bit achey today but drs aren't open until Tuesday now
