SPD 16 months after birth

It sort of went away (it had become sporadic and rarely flared up) and in the last 2-3 months it has come back with a vengeance. I'm in a lot of pain especially trying to get to sleep. Surely I shouldn't still be suffering a year and a half after giving birth - I thought it was going to clear up as soon as he was born :(
What can I do? I'm in lots of pain again.

Are you breastfeeding still? Joint pain can be linked to that and the relaxin hormone. A friend found that hers got much better once she stopped feeding. For what that's worth!

It sounds miserable. Can you see a physio/osteo/chiropractor?

No, I stopped bfing at about 8 months, so 8 months ago. Thanks for the suggestion though!
Hadn't really thought about seeing someone, do I have to be referred by GP or could I just book myself an appointment?
