Eptopic pregnancy and miscarriage

A sonographer n doctors n nurses all said I had a blighted ovum. I told them I was eptopic and I had a pain in my side and i was at high risk cos i had a eptopic pregnancy before.they said I wasn't as the sonographer saw a gestational sac and no one was interested in my pain mainly cos he said he saw a sac n they assumed i would be in more pain if eptopic. so I followed there advice after they convinced me i wasnt eptopic and accepted medication for a miscarriage. The sonographer said he saw a gestational sac but I now think that the sonographer saw a pseudo gestational sac. Does anyone no that if they had done blood tests, would they have been able to tell if I had a blighted ovum cos of the beta levels? Or wether the beta levels would have detected an eptopic pregnancy? taking into account what they diagnosed as a blighted ovum. And also with a blighted ovum do you dispell products of conception? The reason I am asking is because I was eptopic like i told them. my gestational sac was in my tube and was the size of a plum. I didnt see any products of conception and only had a light period. How I have been treat was horrendous but won't go into detail and just ask those questions to see if anyone nos the answers.
