Inguinal ligament damage

Anyone any experience of this?

DD2 (15) has been in a lot of pain in her lower right abdomen for three weeks now, all the obvious things have been ruled out (appendicitis, ovarian cyst, ectopic pregnancy). Painkillers help a bit until they wear off, then the pain goes right back up (she's assessing it as 8 out of 10). So the latest suggestion is muscle/ligament damage.

From what I've been able to google, muscle/ligament damage in that area is likely to be a sports injury, but with DD it came on suddenly while sitting doing homework which is puzzling.

She does have stretchy ligaments (she's hypermobile), but that doesn't really explain the one moment everything fine, the next curled up on the floor in agony Sad.

Change of painkillers has't helped (she's had paracetamol and codeine, then diclofenac for a week, and now naproxen twice a day and cocodamol inbetween that, which sends her either hyper, or asleep.

Anyone?
