Norethisterone, how long does it take to work?

I have been perscribed norethisterone because of continual bleeding since having a Mirena coil fitted. I started to take it yesterday and since then the bleeding has become really heavy.

I am now feeling really depressed about this as I have now been bleeding for months and I thought this would give me a break.

Has anyone had this and perhaps know how long it takes to work?

I started on it last week and saw a difference within half a day - vastly reduced flow - and bleeding completely stopped within 2 days. Hope it kicks in for you v soon.
