If you were 50 next month, on your second Mirena and hadn't had a period for 7 years, how would you know if you'd started the menopause? Is there a test they can do? Do you actually need to know? Just wondering. Any experiences?

I'm 47 this year and on my 3rd mirena which will be due to be replaced when I'm 50. I was hoping they'll let me have another one and emerge at 55 menopause completed without me knowing a thing Grin

Oh wouldn't that be great. Mine's due out in two years but DM went through menopause at 47 so I'm wondering if I've missed it.
