Why are my glands always swollen?

Hi,

My glands seem to be swollen all the time and I have a sore throat. My GP was really dismissive - "it's been a bad winter for bugs and you've got two young children who will pass everything to you" - she could see that it was sore but told me to take paracetamol. Is this normal? I've been like this for months now.

Please go back to your GP. You might need a blood test. You probably have just had bug after bug but better to check it out if not getting better. Hope you feeling better soon.

Definately go back. Ask them to do blood tests and swab for bacteria.

how are you feeling generally? Is it just the throat, or do you feel wiped out and tired too as it could be an immune system issue or glandular fever.

Is your diet good? you could try a tonic like metatone to see if that helps?

Swollen glands are horrible Sad. I have lupus and get them a lot. Much sympathy
