After two big babies my pelvic floor more than broken. Now DD2 is 4 months, I'm about to start another round of physio but need to have had a good crack at the exercises before I start. I cannot get motivated!

Anyone want to join me on a support and motivation thread ?

Yes, me. I've been to the physio, and started off doing my exercises religiously. Have tailed off somewhat now.

Hi agent ! Great that's two of us !
Are you having that electro stimulation thing?

I think I need to be doing mine properly 3 x a day (rather than random squeeze at the kettle, traffic lights etc). No idea why I find it hard. I seem to find every reason in the book to avoid!

No, she said I wasn't bad enough for that (although I feel like I am!) I don't know what my problem is either. I'm generally quite organised, bug I just can't seem to programme them into my day. I think I don't have time in the morning, I'm too self conscious to do them at work, so by the time I get home, I can only fit in one set, rather than the three I'm meant to do. And it's so boring....

I had a very good reason to do mine after the birth of my DS. I had a 4th degree tear and without doing pelvic floor exercises religiously then the chance of being faecally incontinent is very high. That was enough motivation for me to do them ALL the time. 17 months on and so far so good.

One way to remember to do them is after you have been for a wee. You are sat there anyway and have just used the muscles so its a good place to start, plus unless you have a bladder of steel you will definitely go more than 3 times a day.

I need to do mine so I can go on the trampoline in the summer Blush
