I feel a bit stupid but wouldn't mind knowing how to go about it. DS (10 & hlf mths) now has a bit of tooth so want to start brushing. Do I brush for him? Or see if I can get him to do it? Would do you all do & re there any top tips for making it positive experience? Grin

erm, brush it yourself. with a baby toothbrush and toothpaste

Piffle · 05/05/2006 19:47

tiny bit of toothpaste, wet brush, let him chew it to get used to the taste...

You do it like you do your own! And enjoy it while it lasts as from about 18 months onwards, IME, your child will neither let you brush or do it themselves.

DDG - you're lucky, our ds (8mths) refuses to open his mouth now, after a promising start! Althouh he's quite happy to suck it, just as long as it doesn't go anywhere near his teeth!

Really do some children not like it?

PanicPants · 05/05/2006 20:11

Piffle - oh yes.

don't tell me - yours love it?
