Strange period

I started my period 33 days after the last one, it was very light which is usual for me, after about 3 days it stopped. Then it came back a few days after but heavier. No heavy but quite a bit heavier than before. It's been like that for 7 days now. What's going on?! Usually it's very straightforward, light and over within a few days. I had a smear in between this period and the last, would that make a difference?

Someone must have some idea. It's getting heavier :-(

Could you have been pregnant? Or peri menopausal?

meant to say, if it continues like this go to the gp.

I'm only 25 so hopefully too young to be peri menopausal. Don't think I could have been pregnant but wouldn't I be in a lot of pain and passing large clots?
