What could these symptoms be?

I know I need to see the GP but keep putting off but over past few months things have become more noticeable.

Pain under ribs, more left sided but also central and right sided too. Occasionally feels as if spreading to shoulders.

I am burping tons ( little lady-like ones obviously Smile)

But then more recently, pain around tummy button radiating down to lower right side.

Anyone know what this might be? I feel so silly bothering the doctor as symptoms vague and niggling.

Gall bladder/ stones or hiatus hernia. Best to get checked out.

gallbladder or IBS, but get it checked...

Hiatus hernia? Stomach ulcer?

RichTeaAreCrap · 12/03/2013 09:24

I started with pain under the ribs when I had was diagnosed with hiatus hernia.

Do go to the doctor - there are things he can give you to help you feel better. He may also send you to have it checked out so he can confirm the diagnosis to you.

Wind? I have that some times - pain is so bad I have to stand up and move around for the bubbles to dissipate.... people with this often think they're having a heart attack!

digerd · 12/03/2013 11:08

Yep. I have had some very painful wind, and it felt like a heart attack, until it plopped inside me as it does and then in different parts of the body.
I even get it going up my neck .

There used to be an expression ' got indigestion up to my eyebrows', but can go downwards and anywhere.

Gallstones - i'd put money on it. Get it checked out, gallstone pain can vary from mildly uncomfortable to the worst pain you have ever experienced and can make you really ill.
