Vaccination schedule

A very gentle introduction to the vaccination schedule, with the 1st article being on diphtheria. The articles are intentionally short as they are re-posts of items that have appeared/will appears in a variety of locations (mostly free local mags, hence the word limit). Suggestions for articles on a variety of health topics greatly received. I am a practising GP with a passion for patient education, who believes no one has a monopoly on knowledge. Medical advice is NOT provided in this medium.

Thank you for the link Dr Matt :) If I am allowed two notes

"bug ca effect" should be "bug can affect"

It would be nice if "61,000 cases and around 3000 or so deaths" had a measure of per what (month/year/decade) and where (in England/Wales; in UK; in Europe), otherwise the numbers don't tell us much.

Looking forward to the next installment!

Are you a GP with vaccination targets set for you and having funding implications?
