Any ideas anyone?

Potters Vegetable Cough Remover or Venos Expectorant for Chesty Coughs both work brilliantly but taste awful.

Very dark chocolate is also good for coughs apparently.

Manuka Honey (10+ at least) is anti-viral and anti-bacterial - must be taken off the spoon since heat destroys the active element.

A few drops of tea-tree on a tissue on the bedroom radiator helps stop the germs spreading. Breathing the steam from a bowl of hot water with a few drops of tea-tree in it also helps.

Hope you feel better soon - there's a lot of it about and we all had it (my daughter ended up with bronchitis so if your chest feels at all "bubbly" see the doctor immediately).

Thank you for the advice I will try those :) the nurse listened to my chest a few days ago and said it was clear so she didn't think I had an infection. But it doesn't feel very clear to me.

go back to the gp if it is getting worse. clear a few days ago is not the same as clear now
