Halo Nevus

About 6 years ago I developed a small halo nevus on my back it coincided with getting chicken pox at the age of 30 so I didn't think to much about it. i saw a dermatologist 3 years ago and he spotted it and said it was a harmless halo nevus. I looked at my stomach this morning and have noticed that I have a faint halo around a mole on my tummy that has been there for years. The mole is the same and looks perfectly healthy but I am worried because when I google it says mostly develop in late teens. I will go to GP but wondered if anyone could reasure me that you get halo nevus in late 30's. Feeling a bit stressed.

What colour is the halo?

It is a pale but the mole is pale pink. The mole has not changed at all and is about 3mm and perfectly round.

Sorry.
I had a black melanoma diagnosed and before it was cut out, I noticed it had a red ring round it and the next day that had darkened and there was another red ring formed, so I knew it was growing rapidly. It was caught just in time.

Just thought the 'halo' was a ring round it like mine was. But my mole was black, hard and raised. Mine was also perfectly round.
I have lots of moles, but they are different shades of brown to black.
Haven't heard of pink moles.

Just looked Halo Nivus on Google and there was a photo of one, and is just like you described.
It did say that if you get another one, you should see GP.

It's best to be cautious as I have no idea what my melanoma looked like in its early stages, as didn't notice it until it was large and very black.
