My mum has been suffering severe abdominal pain, she suffers with proctitis. We have taken her to the A&E twice about this, first time because she was bleeding, after tests they said she has haemmoroids and it was probably because of the proctitis. The second time we took her which was last friday, the dr did an x-ray and said there was alot of poo stuck in her colon. He prescribed her dosucate sodium, once a day, but she still is in pain and only doing a bit of poo. What is our next step, do we go back? what do they do for this? any advice would be grateful.
