REally itchy scalp!

My scalp is so itchy...comes in waves, so either I forget about it long enough not to scratch or it does actually ebb...but it's not in my mind either!

DH had a look, nothing there. I do have some itchiness around fanny - so maybe yeast overgrowth?

Anyway - I'm going to take oral caneston. But what can I do for scalp?

Please, suggestions!

It could be an allergy to sodium lauryl sulphate. Try a sls few shampoo.

Nizoral shampoo, works wonders. I get it every so often, or a tea tree shampoo works if it is mild.

my scalp is itchy due to some eczema and i've found polytar shampoo effective but smelly and you can get it from a chemist, and beta scalp (i think it's called) which i squirt on my scalp before i wash it, and get from my doctor- use sparingly as it's steroidal i think (follow your doctor's guidance not mine!). hth.
