I used to be a warm person. Rarely felt the cold, infact I was usually too warm.

Now I am cold all the time, no matter what I wear or how much heat there is.

Is this a symptom of anything or just one of those things? I am 25 if thats relevant!

This can be a sign of thyroid problems - are your extremities particularly cold? Are you tired? Might be worth seeing your GP for some basic blood tests just to be on the safe side.

The GP tested my thyroid about two years ago. Can it just suddenly go wrong?

Yes, I'm quite lethargic most of the time. But I put that down to being overweight.

Its my feet, hands and nose, but its all of me too. My legs dont feel cold to DP but they do to me IYSWIM.

I would think your thyroid levels need rechecking.

HobKnob · 27/02/2013 15:25

I've become a colder person as I've lost weight- is that relevant to you?

digerd · 27/02/2013 16:05

It would be natural for a person who has less 'insulation' than before to feel the cold more.
Unless the weight loss is caused by an overactive Thyroid gland, which makes one feel hot and sweaty.

I havent lost a lot of weight. I am maybe a stone lighter than before I had DD2 but I still have plenty of insulation.

I will get my thyroid checked again. Thanks all :)
