nurofen and paracetamol?

really silly question....but can i take nurofen and paracetamol at the same time? Heres the silly bit........i m fine taking just plain ibroproufen and paracetamol.....but is nurofen the same thing? Friggin hideous toothache and the prospect of a 20 min walk in the cold with ds is just too much :/ so have to make do with whats in the house.....

Ibuprofen is generic neurofen, so it is the same thing. Yes you can take them at the same time. Make sure you eat something when you have the ibuprofen, as this can irritate your stomach. And be aware that whilst you can have 2 paracetemol tablets up to 4 times a day (so a maximum of 8 tablets per day), you can only have 2 ibuprofen tablets up to 3 times a day (so a maximum of 6 tablets per day).
