discharge after colposcopy and biopsy - normal?

I had a colposcopy and double biopsy yesterday morning. Ever since, I have had a profuse, watery/mucusy, blood-stained (brownish, not bright red) discharge such that I have to wear a pad. I've had a colposcopy and biopsy before, but didn't get this. Anyone had similar? Is it normal? How long is it likely to last??

I've had two coloposcopy, biopsies - i dont really remember if i had much discharge the first time, probably a bit. The second time OMG! i had to lay down otherwise i was flooding everywhere. I called the doctors and was advised to go and lay down and if it hadn't subsided in a few hours to go back in. I don't think i would panic if i were you but maybe a call to the clinic on monday if it is still happening. I think i was due for my period the second time but it was pants. It did stop though and i was fine - that was 15 years ago Grin

I had treatment at the colposcopy dept and a biopsy prior to that. I did have a brownish discharge and had to wear a pad for about a week. I was told by the colposcopy nurse I may have discharge and to wear a pad though so I expect it is quite normal.
