About 2 years ago I had a problem with severe stomach pain which the doctor said was most likely due to acid or an ulcer I was prescribed zantac then omeprazole, used loads of gaviscon and it eventually calmed down.
The past few weeks I've had a horrible taste in my mouth constantly, keep brushing teeth but its always there, occasionally I get fleeting stomachache but nothing like the pain I had 2 yrs ago.
The last week I have felt constantly nauseous and tired, I have been really stressed but this is like a horrible car sick sort of feeling all the time.
Coupled with the nasty taste in mouth I was wondering after reading up a bit if it could be h pylori infection, I was not tested for it 2 years ago despite the dr saying they might do but my symptons improved so it wasn't needed in the end.
I just feel rubbish-should I ask gp to test me for this?
