Anyone know anything about hypopituitarism?

For the last two years I have been treated for hypothyroidism, but treatment has never been entirely satisfactory and the last consultant I saw said I wasn't hypo at all and had been treated in error!

My FSH was tested twice in my 50s. First time it was 14 and second time it was 11. My GP just laughed and said I was further away from menopause than I ever was (just what you want to hear at 56!)

Now wondering if I have a pituitary issue that they have missed.

Low FSH plus low levels of free thyroid hormones and 'normal' TSH.

Any thoughts?
