You poor thing ... sounds like you've got a lot on your plate. I had mine out in November, came home the following day but ended going back in again a couple of days later. Everyone is different and recovers at different rates. Not sure if you mean you had the op 3 days ago or 10 days ago but anyway, you need to rest as much as possible. I was fortunate as I had DH to do things and I just sat around on the sofa and took things easy. Also don't worry about taking the painkillers, if you need them you need them. Is there anyone who can help you out? Hope you feel better soon.

There's a closed Facebook group called 'Gallstones Sufferers' - ask to join. There are lots of supportive experienced people on it to help you and share their experiences. I am waiting to have my gallbladder removed...... It does seem that it takes a week or two to be pain free and moving easily. Must be extremely hard as a single parent. Is there anyone you can ask to give you a hand. It is very important not to overdo things in the early days as it is major surgery even if keyhole so be kind to yourself when you can!
