Brill!!!

THRUSH!!!

Basically, I'm breastfeeding and have thrush... on the packet for the oral tablet it says not to take when pregnant. Does anyone know if you can take it while breastfeeding? And if you can't what are the reasons you can't?

I take it you mean thrush in the vag rather than thrush in the breasts?

The same drug is sometimes used for thrush in the breasts but at a different dose and does have risks.

Given that there are safe alternatives for vaginal thrush - pessary or internal cream, I would use that rather than the oral flucanazole tablet TBH.

I think you can only use cream or pessary.
