to fixing my teeth and being healthy and able to smile again. Its been a long time coming and I am so determined to finally go through with it. really hoping the first appointment runs smoothly.

I shall do . nervous tonight don't think I will sleep much. have got a few appts and surgery coming up.have let my fear get the better of me for too long though

10.45 so have got some time to burn after school drop off. hopefully I can wander round the shops rather than panic for too long

Im back, my half hour appointment lasted 7 minutes! did pretty good and was so much easier than i expected. Gagged a little as i often do when i have anything done with my mouth and am abit sore now but nothing drastic.I am really embarrased to be honest about the state my mouth is in and know i have to do this to get back to being health and able to smile properly i hope in some way my journey helps others who feel the same.

The gagging is the worst part for me. I'm not too bad with teeth at the side but the ones at the back make me gag awfully - so by the law of sods, my problem tooth is a wisdom one

Please don't be embarrassed - you're doing so well by tackling things now you should be really proud of yourself! And in sure the dentist has seen far worse mouths than yours!

will keep updating, got a few days nothing now till back next Monday, did much better today usually in tears and hardly speak but today got all my questions answered and feel better prepared
