Cold sore?

Zombie is nearly 61 yo. She has never had a cold sore so she only knows what friends have told her or what Dr. Google can tell her.

Last night she had a funny feeling on her upper lip. When she touched it she felt a little lump.

Tonight, the lump is still there. It's not really a blister which is what Dr. Google tells her a cold sore would be. But it still tingles a bit.

Any ideas?

Could still be a cold sore I think - i sometimes get these, they don't ever get as far as a blister, just go away again especially if you don't fiddle with them.

Could still be a cold sore. Try not to touch it or play with it and it might just go away.

Thanks, purple and Chocolate.

Zombie sits on her hands so that she stops poking the lump...

Use Zovirax to head it off. You can also buy patches you stick on overnight which are good. This action works to prevent them coming out as a full-blown coldsore.
