I had a gallbladder polyp, diagnosed by accident during an ultrasound for something else. It was only quite small, a few mm from memory, so I was told to have a repeat ultrasound in 6 months, by which time it had vanished!

Not sure if this helps at all, but just thought I'd share!

I have a gallbladder polyp, first diagnosed 3 years ago.. It very occasionally causes pain similar to gallstones, but nothing drastic, and i usually manage to get rid of it within an hour by moving around, drinking warm water and eating a rice cake.

Have just had it rescanned just to keep an eye on the size, no mention of having to have it out yet, so it just sits there.

Try not to worry, and DO NOT GOOGLE Smile
