Breast clinic referral

So went to the GPs this morning about panic attacks and anxiety issues and I also wanted her to check my right breast as I wasn't sure if I had a small lump.She thought there was a small lump and said she would refer me to breast clinic.They have just phoned to say I have an appointment on Friday. So I'm in a bit of a daze.Any positive stories of breast clinic referral would be greatly recieved.

I went through this too. My first breast scan showed something and I was referred. I had another mammogram at the clinic plus an ultrasound scan and needle biopsy. Had to return for another needle biopsy as inconclusive. The wait for results was hard but eventually got the all clear. The staff at the clinic were really lovely and I was treated very well. Suggest you take your partner or close friend as support in the waiting room was needed! My husband had some good advice at the time which was don't look for trouble ahead of time. My Gp also referred me, but was felt around and told me they were just fibrous lumps. That was a few years ago and Mammogram last year was clear.
