Period returning after baby (slightly TMI)

I got my period back for the first time since i had 5 month old DD, just over a week ago.
Since then, it keeps stopping for a few hours at a time then coming back again, not getting any lighter over the week. Before DD i had 2-3 day light periods, is this just something that changes after DC, or did other peoples periods start a bit strangely then go back to normal? Or am I just doomed to bleed forever more now
I am still ebf DD incase that makes any difference to them?

Was it a c section or vb?

It can start back a bit odd, the first few times - don't worry. Mind you I had to wait 28 months for mine to come back last time! Bizarro.

The way I bleed during my period has totally changed since having children. Tmi but for the most part the blood comes out when I pee!
