Hi

Had posted previously about laberal hip tears and cortisone injections

So I had them in November and they worked for about 4-6 weeks and since them I am getting pain again

Getting 2 more next week for bursitis in the hip and then a review in 6 weeks.

Consultant doesn't think I need an op but wants to see if pain management consultant could help

Anyone any ideas what that involves?

Thanks

It's a great idea. It involves a full assessment and then multimodal pain relief options including physiotherapy, medication, health psychology and a pain management programme. Have a look at this, it makes chronic pain easier to understand. Hope this is helpful.
