Am 42, have dc 13, 12 & 8. Only the one ovary following massive ovarian cyst weighing more than any of the dc. Periods a riot, flooding for 2-3 days, PMT worse since the cyst was removed.
I won't be having any more kids, the cyst was borderline tho I've passed my 3 yr blood tests and scans (3 yrs now clear).
Currently using no contraception but as there is no bedroom action this isn't a problem.
So....pill/implant/coil......or have the other ovary (recommend by gyn) yanked out? Cos of the dodgy cyst I'm thinking well, why not? But I wld need HRT?
Deffo at end of childbearing.
Does anyone have good mn advice for me?
