Pain in breast

Hi all, I woke up this morning with a stabbing pain in my left breast, its continued every 2-3mins since, took some panadol actifast & they done nothing to ease the pain, have no ibuprofen in. Had a warm bath and that done nothing, havent done any strenuous excercise or anything to cause this but it bloody hurts!!!

Any ideas? I have the mirena in a year but not had any probs

if you are breast feeding it's likely to be mastitis or thrush

or insect bite?

no idea otherwise - get checked by gp

Havent breast fed since my son was 4wks old, hes nearly 6 so not that, no sign of insect bite etc, will go gp Mon if it carries on.
